About Us -
We first ran into
each other in 1999 at a Toys show, the band Eric was in at
the time. The show was at a club called "The
Downtown Club" in Sheboygan, Beckie's home town.
(Here's a picture of Beckie in the crowd at the club.) 
Beckie and a friend went to a
subsequent show at Milwaukee's Summerfest that
summer (1999) , and this is where we actually met
for the first time. (Sorry no pictures of that show!)
We spent that July
4th together watching the fireworks and dancing at a
club in Grafton later, and so the 4th will always be a "second" anniversary
for us.
Years went by and the
relationship deepened, and now we have shared so
many milestones and fun together that it would be
almost impossible to list them all!

As a couple, we enjoy any and all outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and being anywhere by the water like at the beach, boating and even fishing. And as long as the warm weather is here we try to do a lot of motorcycling... when Eric's bike is running! We also enjoy good coffee and wine, and we love finding a great, cozy little coffee or wine place somewhere new.
Live music is a big part of our lives, and we love going out to discover a great new band at a local club (not just a Barbeez show!) or to see a great national act - usually at Potawatomi Casino Northern Lights Theater (thanks to Todd!) our current favorite local band is the Five Card Studs.
Eric was successful in getting Beckie hooked on snowmobiling early on. Being a passion of Eric's since high school, snowmobiling has always made the fall an exciting time of year - now for both of us! Hey, Wisconsin winters are long and we need fun things to get us through!

Beckie is a hairdresser by trade, and her shop is Casa Bella Salon on Capitol Drive in Brookfield. She also will be waitressing at the soon-to-be-opened Sicilian restaurant, "Porticello" on Silver Lake in Oconomowoc in April. During the months of September and October it's Halloween time for Beckie! She has been involved with haunted houses since she was 14, most of those years spent with the Jaycee's Haunted House in Sheboygan, one of the top rated haunts in the state. Currently, she is Casting Director of another top rated haunt, Hauntfest at State Fair Park, an event started by our friend Taj who along with his wife Bunny will be at the wedding in Mexico. Beckie also reads romance novels voraciously... sometimes to the chagrin of Eric! Her favorite novelists are Nora Roberts and Anne Rice (naturally!)
Eric is in Promotional Product sales for the last eleven years, and recently started his own business, World Direct Promotions LLC. He has an almost obsessive interest in photography, as well as graphic design and everything computers (he built this website from scratch.) Eric has been involved with the music business playing in bands since 1979, only taking a handful of years off in between. His bands since 2001 is The Barbeez.
Most importantly to us, a great number of the activities we do allow us to be with our friends that we are blessed with!
